    Wet and Wild.

    ...co-driver a little too wild.

I was holding my camera and recording video while this occured and warned him not to lose it going around that long sweeping turning using up a lot of tire to corner... but he gassed it too much anyway.

He also lost control at the finish, and took out the reflector... and almost hit a brick building. Luckily, they had a spare, and he didn't the wall. I got more pictures I took on a friend's camera which I was watching this through its lens finder and snapping away.

    competition:

There are two veterans (WITH THE SCCA PULLOVERS) in my class, one in a prepped Integra, the other, the ITA SE-R. I saw them show up and left my spare in and never kicked out my passenger (besides the first where my co-driver wasn't allowed to ride along).

Wet raining day. Only 50 driver turn out, so 6 runs each!! I was in first in my class after the first run as the others got DNFs. Ended up beating my co-driver by 2 and a half seconds... which is nice since last time he beat me. I rode with him and he was aggressive, but quick reflexes/correction... still, slow and smooth won.

    66.357 (+1, my first cone ever)...62, 58.5.. 57.320..58.6..58.3
Co-driver's best was 59.8ish. Did decent in PAX considering the extra 200lbs I kept in the car.

Sold my chip, re-installing a 3.73. From here on, it's all about driver, suspension, and wheels/tire.

Wouldn't the 4.10 be a really good diff to use for auto-x? With all of the accelerating?

    Looks like fun.

It'd be great if I didn't buy a 4.10 with a worn output bearing, and it didn't annoy me daily.

A non-whiney 3.73 will be a lot better 358 days a year. I'm not worried about being competitive now anyway. Hell, I'm still on street tires.

6 runs? how lame. i always get at least 12 and thats with >70 people and 1-2 min long courses.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.
