Finally pics of my fuh raze project

This thing is a piece of work. i've been enjoying fixing it up. needs some body work next.

i have new sport seats for it, new is wheels w/ goodyear 195/65 rubber, all new gaskets, new timing chain, waterpump, rebuilt driveshaft, new tranny, new flex disc, new vibration damper, lots of new bolts/washers, getting all new locks and a new drivers door, repainting drivers mirror and getting a new passengers mirror, needs a new power antenna, needs to have the carpet steamed, and the dash redyed black.

could use, new power steering rack or rebuild this one, a new painted hood, an alarm w/ remote locks, a stereo.

wheels are put away so nobody steals them.

that is why i bought new seats. ugh. (door panel is off since i'm changing locks, its actually in great shape)

yes it does have an "i" motor

the previous owner wants everyone to know his ///M 325is BMW is powered by BMW.

this is what the trunk looked like when i got it

only thing in the trunk was some exhaust hardware, 1 dead battery, 1 dieing battery (now dead), and a shotgun shell.

my "new" seats (taking to upholstery shop to stich the tears, then i will refinish/redye with leatherique)

    no headgasket leaks, thats good.

    new motormounts perhaps??

i cant see any leaks can you?

    good thing it doesnt leak.

thats what the driveshaft looked like when i took it out.

Usually, posts made in the "Members Rides" section contain pictures. Just a little FYI.

Edit: it's all been fixed meow. That car needs some serious work, good luck man!

That thing is a bit beaten up.

Not really sure why you'd replace that flex disc.

After removing the bolts that hold the flex disc to the output flange, you need to turn the driveshaft/dampner 60 degrees (IIRC, the exact number is in the Bentley) in order to take it off the flange.

Just checked. It is 60 degrees in any direction.
