So today I got the work done I wanted to do while I was replacing the timing belt, but the parts came in a completely separate box and where delivered a week after I had everything put back together.

So yesterday I decided to explore our local junkyard and I scored! Got a crack free fog light for $14! Installed it today (cracked one is still mounted on the car in the pic), also some pics I never shared of the New OEM sway bar bushing compared to the original. There pricy! I payed over $40 for these suckers at the dealer. Lastly, I just had to share a pic of how clean it is underneath! That scrubbing 2 weeks ago really payed off.

I have to ask... why are you buying parts at the dealer? Unless you have some crazy-good account with them, I guarantee they're at least 200% the price of any online retailer, for the exact same part and manufacturer.

I rarely buy from the dealer, but I do get 15% off there. I overlooked replacing the sway bar bushings and wanted to get them ASAP, and the dealer got them for me the next day. If I would have remembered I would have bought them with my order on pelican.

Looks great, but the rear still looks pretty low even with the riser pads. How do you like the ride?

It is still a tad bit to low. I wish I could lower the front some more, but there's basically no way I could do that. Ground Control camber plates supposedly lower the front an extra 12mm! (as said on there site). As for the ride, Its a little soft for my taste honestly. Though I'm sure its because I'm used to my coupe with stiffer GC springs and Koni's.

Here's some better pics of the ride height,

Went to the dealership today and bought some gaskets. Ive noticed oil slightly seeping threw what looks to be the block and oil filter housing. Hasn't left a drop on the ground yet, but why not fix it. As you can see, yes the dealer is still somewhat pricy, but at least I'm not paying the outrageous "listed" price in there system. The other seal wasn't in stock, should be here tomorrow.

                          Cars looking sweet.

Was it a big job to change the mounts?

Thanks man, not to bad. I ended up actually disconnecting the arms from the block when the engine was supported. Took about an hour and a half or so, not to bad. If you haven't taken off the arms from the block, you'll be surprised how little they need to be torqued!

Okay, so I just got done polishing the paint and then using a sealant and all I can say is WOW! If your paint isn't looking to good these days and the clear coat isn't pealing, this is exactly what you need to bring it back to life. It's this stuff called "Klasse", I bought it off of amazon, it was a little pricy at $50 bucks, but I can say now is it was totally worth it. It makes the paint look like its still wet with water, and I'm sure you Red car owners know what I'm talking about.

The results of 4 hours of work,

Well I figured out today why I could lock the car from the door, but couldn't unlock it today. That piece you see on the left, its the arm that makes contact with the microswitchs and well.. It snapped off the lock cylinder! My buddy rebuilt the door lock on my coupe, I'll be heading over to him this week with a rebuild kit that BMW still sells.
