    Nice progress on the Turbos/IC, suck about the parking-scar. I had someone hit my SVT Focus, then drive away. Someone saw them though, and left me a note. We used to service the MTA Police cars where I worked in NY, so my boss asked him to get me an address(I had the plate number). My wife and I went to his house, this kids was 17 and looked like a gorilla, but was scared shit that his mom would find out. So we made a deal and he came up with the cash a week later.

    I'm looking forward to videos...and kills.

    Walbro 450 is on the way. I finally found the limit of the stock pump.

    25psi and 20* of timing is just too much for it. Starts out great below 4k with an 11.5:1 AFR, and by 5500 its leaned out to 12:1(still leaning out, but 12 is when I lifted) with 10* of knock retard.

    Can't wait to get the new pump in, and the body repaired. Hopefully dropping it at the body shop this weekend. I'd like to get the bumper on before I do.

    No word yet from the insurance adjuster. Called him at 4:45 and he already left for the day.

    Going to call him tomorrow at lunch. I go on vacation to South Carolina on the 16th and am planning on taking this car. I just want it fixed and enjoy it.

    In other news, took the family out to dinner tonight and ran into a 335XI, I imagine he had at least a tune, but from a 65 roll I pulled on him right away. Only went to the top of 3rd, wasn't in a situation to go all out. I was impressed though, those cars definitely have some power.

    Sums up my feelings right about now.




    On a side note, MAF is reading 390g/sec, which puts it around 470-490CHP. Bumping timing a little more, also running about 22 psi. This FMIC is great though, temp raises about 2 degrees during a 3rd gear pull to redline.

    Well fuck me then.

    Elderly lady hit it while I was picking up some washer fluid and heet. She acknowledged fault so it shouldn't be an issue. I really wish she hadn't hit the quarter though. Paint is still there, hopefully it can be straightened without sacrificing the galvanized metal.

    I'll take some videos tomorrow. Tweaked the tune a good bit today. Bumped the timing to 15*, added some fuel, will see what happens.

    Nothing to see here.... Just your every day grocery getter.


    I need to get the bumper mounted, but I'm in no rush to hack it up.

    Just took it for a drive. OMG I'm giggly like a little school girl.

    Didn't get to really run it because my laptop wasn't hooked up and I literally only had 5 minutes, but a short pull to 4k in 2nd gear put a grin on my face. I'm running a very conservative base tune now with only about 8* timing and 18 or so PSI. I'll work up the boost to 24 or so over the week, and hopefully be able to squeeze 15* out of it with the methanol.

    Going to keep my Knock correction at 3* or less, good times will be had.

    Oh, and I am trying to line up a race with a full exhaust/cam C6 Vette. Should be fun.


    As it sits, I really need to get the bumper on. So much for the sleeper look.
