The Journey from battered and stock, to Desirable Daily! '90 325i Sedan

I bought this 1990 325i Sedan from a friend and fellow r3v'er (butler). I bought the car with some decent front end damage and pretty high mileage in hopes of a quick fix and flip. Those plans turned into a burning desire to sell my e36 m3 to build this e30.

    Basic info:
    1990 325i 198,000 miles
    5 speed
    Natur Cloth Comfort interior
Custom Metallic black exterior, almost looks like Cosmos from the e36 body style. (repainted two owners ago)

After driving the e30 to work every day for about a week, (20 miles on gorgeous Southern Oregon back roads each way) I fell in love. My plans for my e30, Bridgette, are as follows:

    IE Stage 3 Springs
    Bilstein Sport Shocks
Some sort of 16" or 17" wheels
    Aftermarket steering wheel
Coupe or 'vert sport seats and interior reupholster
2.7i bottom end, built 885 head
    3.73 LSD
'is' front lip + Ryan G. splitter
Racing dynamics or similar rear valence
    Full custom exhaust
    OEM Mudflaps
    Fix the front end damage
Other little bits and pieces here and there.

    Current stock "monster truck" status:

Shots from a recent group dyno day in Eugene, Oregon:

And some of the parts I recently started gathering to install over the winter:

    IE Stage 3 springs

Valentine One I just picked up (it has already saved me)

Momo M38 wheel from 04/1989 I am in the process of refinishing (1 of 2 steering wheel options.

    Momo M36 from 01/1993

And finally the 3.73 LSD I picked up from a member on here!

Also, I'm currently waiting on an 885 head to show up so I can rebuild that over the winter!

Overall, I am extremely excited to start putting together the e30 I want and this community has already been a huge help! I'll try to keep this updated with progress.

    Cheers! :ST1G:

That's what I'm leaning toward at the moment. I really like the look of the wood one.

Yeah I'm renting so I have to be careful, but if you have enough news paper, there is really no issue haha
