well the M badge in the trunk I think it's ok or normal, at least in a 325is that has some M stuff like the spoilers and the steering wheel .
Many euros e30 most 325is came with fully M-Tech 1 spoilers as the M-Tech 2 , many also came from factory with the M badge in the trunk, believe me...
