not a spec of rust on the body at all! Nothing!
it was imported by the previous owner who apparently was mechanically useless.
he cracked the oil pan but other than that the engine is flawless.
the only issue is that its an m20b20 and has as much power as a shopping cart.
Im a regular at the local pick-n-pull and scored a fresh m30 (less than 100Km on it) from a trashed Japanese import 535i.
I was lucky enough to hear the motor running and i compression tested it on the spot.Comment

the winters are hella long here so Ive got 4 more months to get the swap done.
my only hang up so far is sourcing some bits and pieces.
