If you buy springs that have dead coils, it is OK to cut a dead coil or two off the springs to get the right ride height. There is no ill effect what so ever. Hmmm...IMHO, white cars and gold wheels look sweet. But, you do have a black and white motif going on on your car so gunmetal or black could also look good. You should P-shop them before you actually paint them.
