New ride, New forum, New community

Hello all, I just purchased my first project E30 this past week and I decided to join this forum to learn better ways I can preserve/improve my E30. Its a 1989 325i Coupe but the vin tag in the door says its an IS so idk. At the current moment it does not run, but the motor has good compression, so I guess there's hope. I purchased this car from a Salvation Army auction this week, and here are some pictures of the condition that I got it. As I progress with the E30's restoration/build I may post more pictures.

*Updated progress to my E30 can be found here*

Looks very similar to mine when I bought it (didn't run either). Welcome!

My 89 325i has the same iS sticker, and is definitely not an is. I just assumed it must say that on all of them.

              Welcome to the forum! It is a 325i not a 325iS. :)

It is absolutely incredible how well red on E30's cleans up with a proper bath and detail. You'll be amazed.

Thank yall all, and yes it does have a crackless dashboard. I should have time this weekend to clean it up if the weather pans out. I will keep yall updated on the progress of the car with pictures at this link. Should be an interesting journey.
