The Reason I'll be selling my Bronzitbeige

I've been itching to get a late model non-bronzit for a while and I finally saw one for sale on craigslist. I jumped on it despite the obvious risks I was taking. The car has basically no maintenance records and the PO had never even heard of a timing belt. He hadn't heard the words mtech2 before either. He just filled the trunk up with subs and was picking out 19" wheels to replace the basketweaves with. Fortunately he only had it for seven thousand miles out of the 112k.

Knowing the risks I was taking with maintenance I drove the car home and then drove it straight to the shop to get the timing belt replaced. My mechanic said the teeth of the belt were falling off as he took the belt out. The suspension is all jacked up so I'm going to have to put a nice set up on it in a few paychecks.

The Europlate is going on soon. It'll be worth a ticket. And its immunity against those photographs they take when you run red lights:

Decently low miles but nothing to cry about:

Here's a shot of the gray interior. Except when I take pictures they always look pretty tan. No cracks in the dash or in the seats:

Out of curiousity, do cars iwth mtech2 kits ever have the black trim? I looked around and I don't think I've ever seen one.

Tell me what you guys think. And in every post you must insult either me or my family. So think of your best.

Wow, great find. Needs the obvious drop and maintenance work, but otherwise looks like a nice project.

As for insulting you...hmmm. Your mom is so fat, when she falls out of bed she falls on both sides.

We'll need a picture of the color plaque to prove its not Lachsilber. Queer.

Oh, when I asked I was referring to the bumper trim and the trim along the sides of the cars. Any info on that?

nope, never seen that either. but thought about doing it with my last tech II car.
the front is missing the U.S. parking lights too.
is it an "original" M-Tech II car? not that it makes any difference.
I dont think so. is the headliner black, does it have the map lights in the mirror?

No, it's not an original. It does have the maplights in the mirror. A guy on bimmerforums was running a thread since he had access to a vin decoder that specified all of the factory options. Mtech didn't come up anywhere for my car. It must have been put on some time after it was purchased.
