    E30 Touring (Rescue Mission)

I bought this POS last fall. And it wasn't cheap either.

The fuel lines were cracked. There wasn't a matching spring on it. Fuel pump was shot. Water in the head lights. Holes in the floor.

The tires were worn out. The lollipop bushings gone. Front wheel bearings shot. All breaks were sticking.

I got down to it and flushed all fluids, replaced timing belt and water pump. New breaks all around, etc etc.

I even went crazy and got a sport suspension kit for it and lowered it 40/35mm.

Pretty much everything underneath the car is new, mounted some Recaro Pole Positions and got the go-cart-feel I was looking for. However fast you drive, you feel like you're in a race car!

I even bothered to update the exterior a bit with clear lenses and some new shiny headlights.

I managed to fashion together my own strut brace from an old piece of thick pipe.

It's kind of hard to get into and the chassi is super stiff, and those bucket seats don't stop the ass from getting sore. =p

In the end it turned out all right I'd say. But the cost for all the parts has been insane.

I did end up with a seriously cool toy though and I frekkin love it! (=

This is a great car. I recently sold an e30 and am already in the market trying to find the right one to buy again.

I like the ride height as well! Good choice.

          Thanks!

I actually didn't like those wheels until I saw what other people was selling 'em for.

Nice looking wheels in 4x100 are extremely hard to come by it seems.
