I had to put my wheels on (warning: 17's, car not lowered)

I actually thought it would look worse. I couldn't stand seeing my wheels in my dining room anymore, I had to put them on. The back of the wheels barely clear the brakes however the strut isn't near scraping.

I still plan on getting spacers, the back tire is way inside. Looks wak. I notice the back wheels actually sit inside more than the front. I'm glad I put them on cause now I can actually measure the gap and buy smaller spacers for the front than in back... I'm somewhat reserved on lowering the car. Having to drive majorly cautious and slow in certain areas sounds like a pain. I plan on buying the H&R/Bilstein package. It seems that 1.25" would be perfect though (just enough lowering to look nice without being to close to bottoming out) I think most of you guys would def agree from what I've read?

The wheels aren't terrible, and will definately be much improved once you get a drop. Are the wheels multilug?

funny, i've never seen anyone else with those wheels. They are the ones that came on my car when i bought it. I just destroyed one of them, so they're on the way out finally. You want three free of the same wheels?

sounds about right, but they are the newer versions...not real 3pc. i had the old 3pc version on my 280zxt back in the dayz, but they were soft as hell and bent all to shit.

Then hold out for a killer set of wheels.

I already have the basketweaves that came with the car (they're 14", correct?) but I personally like these better than small basketweaves and big fat tires.... Besides, I seriously doubt I would get much for these. Don't get me wrong, I would like some wheels that go better with the car but I have all kinds of other things I will place before that..... I will probably put my basketweaves back on soon. Some 17" Basketweaves would be NICE! Do they exist?

how about the style 5 from e39/38s are those considered basketweaves. i just think it might be a little to classy for an e30 though.
