    my 325e

Here is my 1986 325e with Luxus package.

It was a one owner car until June 2014, with 74 000 documented miles, meticulousely maintained by previous owner. No accidents, original paint, 5 speed manual, cardinal red leather, rear headrests, mint interior.

Everything works: AC, sunroof, power windows, door locks, fog lights, antenna, etc... The only thing not original is the radio, but I still have original one.

Since last year, timing belt, water pump, T-stat, cap, plugs, plug wires, coil, battery were replaced. I just got my mechanic to replace rusted fuel and brake lines.

I paid too much for it, but I really enjoy it. I wanted my e30 to be as close too possible to the way it was when it left the showroom. I use it as a week end summer driver.

      Thank you!

When I saw how clean and original it was, I decided to keep it's factory looks, although I also enjoy modified e30s.

When I first got my 325e last year, the paint was real nice but the black bumper trim had turned a bit greyish, and the surface was rough, as if some sort of protective coating had peeled off in certain places.

I tried a product called back to black, but the results weren't great. I also tried another more expensive bumper trim restorer, with so so results.

So I finally got a body shop to sand, prime and repaint the bumper trim, and the results are great. It has been over a year, and still looks new! Made a huge difference in my opinion!

One last picture with its garage companion, a 1976 MB 300D. I guess I am a sucker for underpowered german sedans with huge bumpers!

If you thought the pre facelift e30's bumper was a diving board, take a look at the MB's bumper!!!

            Thank you!

Here's an interior pic. Nowadays on most cars you can get a black or grey interior, or an exciting beige if lucky! So nice to have a red interior!
