    Meet Bruni

Got my first E30. A Burgundrot Metallic 1986 325e. At $1K, I thought I scored. It looked beautiful but there were no service records at all. My main goal was to do the timing belts, WP and T-Stat. It's my 4 miles DD so not a lot of demanding driving. Family and a tight budget put me on a route of only small DIY's and interior restoration (sponsored by Craigs). It has been great as I've been learning a lot about Bruni and e30's. I know what she's made of.

Except for the no Giubo, globe box, stereo, and funky shift stick ball, she's unmolested everywhere else. This weekend I fixed the ABS light on by replacing the 8amp. fuse wire on my rely, which it amuzed me when I saw it was the original rely (dated 9/85).

After about spending $200 the interior is about 85% restored but very presentable (at $50 the stereo was the most expensive thing I paid).

I'm going into break job soon and then driveline and tranny.

You did very well indeed. My b-rot was half the price but considerably more to get it looking close to yours!

Pics of your interior so far? Nice find with the car, I love that color.
