Car has been driving good so far. Wrapped the door sills and back side of the hood. Also added some red LED strips for footwell lighting. Wired them to come on with the door sensors.





Mirrors are being painted after the 10th failed attempt to wrap them. So I have the cup mirrors on for a temp solution.

Some minor updates: vanos has been rebuilt, crazy how much play it had.



Also made some Porsche RS style door pulls, added a map light mirror and added oil temp/water temp/ volt gauges.

That interior and the seats are gorgeous. Where did you source the fabric and other details?

Thanks man, still a few small things to add to the interior. Fabric came from one forum member, stitched up by another and put on the seats by me.

Haven’t posted in a while as I got a new vert project but the car is almost finished. Just have some small cosmetic stuff to do and will probably rebuild the vanos.

Got a new wire harness, had it chopped up and squeezed into the cover. Exhaust hangers welded and put some washers on top of the motor mounts to get an extra couple millimeters.

Replacing the oil pan gasket and adding some sealer....g260 is killing me! Trans is coming off this week.

Took it outside for the first time in a while. Everything is running pretty good, have a slight oil leak but that's about it. Need to get the exhaust hangers welded on, wire harness cut down and some small stuff done.

Well after a few months of electrical trouble shooting I finally got the car running last night. Turns out i had a bad wire harness! Now I just need to button things up and drive it!
