Hello, I'm Lithuanian but I live in Italy from really a lot of time.
Almost a year ago I bought my little big dream, an e30. I was worried about it's age, but she won :)
Nothing special, very basic model (no optionals, no power steering, nothing, good for me), 1989, 316i (1.6, 8v, 75kw 102hp, ladie engine, but it still surprised me). Still with lady steelies on it.
Love how the car looks, loved it potential before buying it (turbo swaps and other improvements), and fell in love like never with a 4 wheel piece of metal when drove it... I was going for buying it when I never drove. Still love how it drives, not only for the sport factor, but also for the "carisma" factor - old school is old school, and even if it's not the maximum of it, that's nothing to see with modern european cars.
Ideas and works to do are really a lot, for now just driving it in it's semi decent conditions, only 7000 km done after fixing some little issue what was on the car when buyed. Now the tacho shows 150000, should be real because the cars isn't bad. Will come the day when it will be a real toy car to play with (hope soon, already working for this).
This is the car, after purchase, no clean photos, now it's still the same, only put the lip on and made a little dent on the roof with hand when was crazy angry mad :D
p.s. was looking for the presentation category, but or I'm blind or here isn't one :D In Italy the people get angry when you don't make a presentation on a forum board :D Here's not, so no time for fluffy chatting hahaha :devil:
