Ken,
I know the mirrors are supposed to be on a race car. Heh, They are going to be complemented this spring with ACS side skirts, rear apron, Alpina front spoiler, and a Alpina rear spoiler. (should be done by may) I already have the ACS sides and the rear apron.
This is really going to happen. No joke.
I wanted to keep this quiet cos I have a feeling this is going to be a flamefest.
Oh well. Might as well hang on to the E30 now, and get a nice DD a lil bit later while keeping the E30. I will prob wait a year or so untill I buy my new bmw.
Good luck with your e30 Ken ;)Comment

So you're getting rid of the aluminum bumpers to add the Alpina items?Originally posted by Bloodline 04Ken,

I think I have everyone owned.
I have a 1987 325iS project car that I have been working on for nearly 3 years now, and I've only driven this e30 about 100feet in that time!!
Here are some pictures of it when I first bought it.
As you can see it was really run down and in poor shape overall, but it was cheap!
My original plan was to just get it running well, and make a reliable beater out of it. I grew overly attached to it, and plans changed. 3 years later the project is nearly completed! I've spend more time then I could ever account for working on it, and the results are fantastic.
Here are some pictures of how the car is now.
I should mention that I do ALL my own work on this car.
The modifications on this car are indepth, but I will go over what is visable.
First off it is a 87 325iS so it had those nasty diving board aluminum bumpers. I retrofitted plastic bumpers, and did all the work needed to make the rear bumper fit superbly. The front lip is a Infinity. M-Technic II rear wing, e36 328iS sideskirts, cut down, trimed, and reshaped to fit perfectly. And my most recent fabrication is the lower half of a e36 M3 bumper, cut up, trimed down, reshaped, heated, remolded, and bonded to the rear bumper. I still have to do the bodywork on this part, fill the seams what whatnot, but its basicly done.Tenured Automotive Service Professional - Avid BMW Enthusiast
