    Some E36 Schite

What's up r3v, after owning 4 E30's, 325i, 2 325is' and a 318i, of which I still have a 325is and the 318i, and now daily-ing an E34 540i, I had set my eyes on an E36. But I have never been more picky with a car than I was with E36's. For me, my E36 HAD to be an M3 SEDAN and an extravagant color. No white, silver, black, or gray this time. I was 100% set on either Avus Blue, Hellrot, or, the dream, Technoviolet. But mother of God did this color catch my eye. After doing some research, I realized why I hadn't wanted this color and the simple fact is, I, and many other people, didn't even know this color exists. It's called Byzanz metallic and it was offered only on 1997 M3 sedans. The number of actual factory Byzanz paint jobs is 88 for the US and 100 exactly for the world, only 32 in Europe. Since I'm used to my E30's, this car being newer and more refines, it is as comfortable as my 540 and loaded with even more options such as 8 way power seats, Harmon Kardon sound system, on board computer, cruise control, literally everything that could be added, was. There is no other E36 M3 more equipped than this, but a few that are equal and even less of those with this paint job. As far as plans for this car, I don't WANT to do anything to it, but the driver in me wants to put a 5 speed in it and supercharge it. Whether or not either of those will happen is TBD but there will definitely be a Billy Boat exhaust coming soon and I might just cap it at that. But enough of my yakin, here's some eye candy for ya!

Obviously you're going to put a 5 speed in a m3. Beyond that, she's GORGEOUS!

Just because it's an M3, I want to. After driving it though, it's so comfy and worry free with the lux package and wasn't really built to be thrashed as hard as a base M3, I have my eyes on a second E36 M3 already to beat on and take to the track but I do wanna try to keep this one as stock as possible. But like everything, that's subject to change at any moment!

Nice man! I was just wondering the other day if you ended up picking this up. Like I said in the other thread, I've only seen this color once in person, never knew it was 1 of 106 though. Good luck on the build!

Byzanz was available without Luxury package. However your original interior, Magma, was Luxury package only in 1997. After Luxury pack was phased out for MY1998, Magma interior became available on regular cars.

Don't know where you got your number, but the actual number is 123

Luxury package doesn't add any "comfortness" to an E36 M3 Sedan. It's exactly the same as any other sedan. On a Coupe you can argue that sport seats are more comfortable than Vaders, but sedans come with sport seats no matter what.

This is true, every possible option, besides the LTW wheels is present on this car. However, LTW wheels were not available with the Luxury package.

That's so sick. Love Byzanz. Works really well with the E36 design language.
