    Euro Diamantschwarz 316i>>325i

    Hey guys,
Thought I'd consolidate my updates and photos into a new thread:

My e30 started as stock 316i imported from Germany to Canada - I bought it off from 2nd owner whose uncle(the original owner) imported the car in 2006. It had 130,000 km when I bought it.

When I first got the car:

    Freshly washed:

    Now:

After 4 years and 70,000 more kms - I've put:

    Built M20B25:
    - Metric Mechanic head bolts;
    - Metric Mechanic head gasket
    - Metric Mechanic "Bee Hive" valve springs and retainers
    - Metric Mechanic rocker arms
    - Metric Mechanic coated rod bearings
    - Ishihara-Johnson teflon crank scraper
    - 288 Schrick camshaft
    - UUC magnetic drain plug
    - Oil pan baffles

    Chipped 153
    325i drivetrain + lightened M20 flywheel
    325i Eberspacher muffler
    Billstein + H&R sport
325i front strut with new brake rotors & calipers
    Control arms + E36 M3 CAB
    Rear drums
    Starter
    Brake master cylinder
    Clutch master & slave cylinders
    Sway bar bushing
    Tie rod ends

    Leather sports interior
    Italvolanti wood steering wheel
    Bunch of interior pieces

Bought leather interiors and restored them:

    M20 swap:

    New suspension bits:

    Lowered on Billstein + H&R

Added steering wheel, custom made wooden knob, new boots, interior pieces, etc:

    Recent pics:

    Future plan:

    4.10 LSD (bought rebuilt unit)
Rear subframe bushings (going in with LSD next week)
    New steering coupler
    Quicker rack
    Rear disk swap
    MAF

Hope you guys enjoyed it and feel free to throw any suggestions for the car - thanks!

I'm a fan. Any plans to make the headlights match, or is the one driver's side smiley a character thing now?

Thanks. I eventually wanna match the headlight but that's at the bottom of my list.

It's a late model (1991) which came with plastic bumpers.

Lime it a lot. Great job on the seats.

4.10 LSD and rubber rear subframe bushings going in:

So..next mod on the list is MAF and some dyno tuning that would hopefully improve drivability.

As it has aggressive cam with stock chipped ECU (91 octane with 7k rpm) - I'm not sure what to start. Should I get it dyno tuned (chip programming) first? Or should I install MAF kit then get the ECU reprogrammed?
