Sideskirts on my 335i

Looks like its coming together. Was it as hard as you thought it would be to mount the Civic sides?

No, i was actually suprised how easy it was. It's ABS plastic so it was relatively easy to shorten (they were too long by 3"), then use epoxy glue to glue the end cap back on...

Then it was a matter of drilling the holes in the M-tech II skirts at the right place to mount the civic skirts and bolted together at 5 places.. I can always modify it's position by drilling holes in different locations. I'm satisfied where it is right now...

The bottom of the skirt is not as "straight" as i would like. the pics dont show it too well. i cut it with a exacto knife to trim it, so i have to sand it down to level it out (it's a little wavy on the bottom where it had been cut)

If anybody is interested, I haven't done the driver side yet. but when i do it, i can take pics step by step and describe how I did it personally...

As for right now, it's not perfect, it needs a little tweaking. So it's still a WIP

Very nice idea, I love creative body kits! I've truly come to hate anything that looks great out of the box because when you make it your self (or in my case buy crappy ebay knockoffs and modify them to make them work yourself) there's so much personal satisfaction when someone says "Hey, nice car man!"
