Been a follow for a long time! One of these days we'll have to meet up at a local meet when our cars are both done.

Built Turbo S52 Build - M3 Pesch Kit + More

    Hi All,

Since I just ordered the first few parts I figured it was time to start a build thread from the beginning for once.

A lot of the basis of my build is starting from my rusty turbo S52 Granit sedan.

The only reason I am moving on from that shell is because of the rust. I thought the car had only some rust but soon found that it was much worse than I thought.

Starting off with the body. Some of you may recognize this car. I was lucky enough to be able to pick up unloadedak's shell that he was going to build minus the Pesch kit. Safe to say there is absolutely no rust on it at all.

I made the journey from Chicago to Omaha and back in a rolled $300 F150 from CL that had just received a roof a week ago.

Home safe after an all day trip

I have since ordered replacement panels from Pesch, hopefully should be here halfway through February.

Engine wise, this is my plan:
    - S52
    - CP 8.5:1 pistons
    - Arrow rods
    - GTX4088r (already ordered, should hopefully be here soon)
    - Twinscroll manifold
And obviously a bunch more of supporting parts. The base S52 will be coming from my old car, it has about ~55k on it currently.

Suspension wise, currently my S52 car has
    - Stance coilovers
    - Treehouse CABs
    - Reman E36 rack
    - Condor bushings all around
    - Vert sways
Most of these parts will be remaining. I plan on adding a BBK and possibly going boosterless. We will see there.

My goal will be at first 600whp, and I would like to have the car running by mid-summer. The only worry I have is my F10 distracting me budget wise (it already has been...)

I'll be updating this as I go, I'm excited to get to start a build thread from the actual beginning!
Working...
