Hi there,
Hope we are all well? Greetings from Scotland.
Ive had a fair few E30's in my time (316, 316i, 316i Lux, 318i, 320i Chromie, 325i Touring) but i always regretted not having a 325i Saloon (i personally love the 4 doors) so have been looking for the right unmolested car for a long time now. It had to be an original 4 door 325i SE Auto for me. I love my cars standard so took a bit of finding.
A few months ago i saw my perfect E30 so snapped it up: I'm utterly delighted, smitten, in love and have found my "keeper" to love and cherish. It will remain totally standard (aside from fitting an alarm /immobiliser and a nicer head unit (i have a new old stock early 90s Kenwood mask auto changer setup to go in) and will just be improved upon over the coming years. Im a fair weather user so it will be tucked up in the garage mostly and will only be used on nice dry spring and summer days and won't be actually used in the wet or salt again. Its in remarkably good condition for an original 121,000 mile car, wee bit of corrosion at the base of each front wing that will get rectified but aside from that is lovely. MOT with no advisories. It has a full history , full bookpack, all keys. Pics (lots of them!!) below. Cant wait till the spring now so i can take her for a spin. That exhaust burble is to die for and id forgotten how nice they sound!
I saw this site advertised on an amazing film on youtube called Respect Your Elders which i really enjoyed, be great to know if any of the people and cars in the film are still about on the forum?
