All BMWs imported into Japan are LHD. The Japanese preferred the LHD cars because it was seen as a status symbol/exclusive not only to drive a BMW, but an LHD car as well. Weird I know, but that's the reason haha

Not all are LHD. In Japan you can order RHD or LHD BMW. The reasoning for the LHD cars is correct though.

It has been harder to find a set of these covers for the hatch headliner than it has been to find mtech parts.
But we finally have them!!!!!!

We actually have 2 sets, one brand new set and another mint set. One set came directly from BMW and one set from the UK. You just have to be on the lookout constantly. We have an account through BMW and having the euro title allows us to order euro parts. All were available new except the passenger rear door pod, but I located one.

It's been a while since I have updated this and now we've had the car just over a year.
All of the red trim is gone, it has custom ground control/ koni coilovers and a new cooling system. It gets driven almost all summer and has been amazing for roadtrips.
