I gots a cabrio!

I know I haven't been around to contribute much to this site recently; I'll bet you guys have reeeally missed me! Kidding. I just wanted to letcha know I got myself a new E30 and give you a chance to provide me some feedback. Both owning an m42 and a cabrio are completely new to me. Here she is:











My sweety has front and rear bumpers for me that he's currently painting. I do need a front driver's side fender. I've got some mechanical things to take care of and soon to follow that will be shocks and springs. Questions and comments welcome.

well, i had a hard on when i saw the initial pics, then i saw the crack in the dash.... and the rear bumper..

Easy fixes though... very nice!

Thats one clean car, with exception of a simple bumper replacement, always liked that color aswell.

I don't own a 2.5l - but I do have a 2.3l m20 and a 1.8l m10. The M42 is a nice middle ground. It picks up and goes.. but it isn't as quick as the 2.3 and you can tell it's a 4 banger when you're trying to pull a big hill. On the other hand, it feels nice and powerful compared to the m10. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

The car was repainted (lousy job) in 1999. I'm not too proud to rock the 318 badge. I think I'll hang onto it for a while.

Hey Yan! The 323 is my daily driver these days (until the cabrio is ready), and it's running like a champ. Needs attention of course.. but it's doing fine.

I love that color, the first time I saw it i had to bitch a U and follow the car. Have fun with it it looks like it will be near perfect with a new bumper and dash.

Nice car, 2nd on the badge removal.. tell your bf to put a singlemass flywheel on that car like euro 318is, it'll be much more fun.. and i know he's up for it.
