    noob w/ 86 325es

i recently picked up an 86 325es with a 2.7 "stroker" motor that was built by a mechanic at Autowerks. it still needs to be tuned (redline is still 5500) so i am looking into that. it has H&R springs and Bilstein (i think sport) shocks. overall, its in pretty good shape... only a few small dings and some scratches. i'm hoping to track and auto-x it when everything is tuned and ready.

here are some pics. all comments are welcome.

What kinda of engine work was done? Looks like you need to swap over to motronic 1.1 or greater to take the benefit of the extra power. That is of course as long as the head was fitted with upgraded valve springs. Thats the set-up I run now and its pretty sick for an eta.

i actually don't know all the details of what's been done. i'm supposed to talk with the mechanic who built the motor tomorrow to find out what's been done and what still needs to be done to get the most out of it.
