    >>>Got bored and put some spacers on...

oh and i got new tires... Falken Ziex 512 225/50 :)

ok so i tried and ran some 8mm H&R spacers because i've been wanting a wider stance in the rear...

not gonna lie, but it did look much better...

but it had rubbing issues under heavy acceleration and minor bumper on the road. The car also felt a bit unnatural under heavy cornering but i didnt realy drive more then 3 miles because of rubbing.

    "Flame suit on"

EDIT: also did a small exhaust clip because its going to be up for sale shortly... so if anyones interested... http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...70249336980598

Almost looks too wide IMHO, I think the Ronal's sit pretty nicely with 225's as they are. Widening the track of the rear only = worse handling for sure.

yeah but it did look cool... widening the track of rear only is no good ehh? I didnt know that.

Yup. When I was running bottlecaps at the begining of the year before I got these rims I had 15mm spacers in the rear and none up front. Very noticable in the way the car drove.

"fills up the M-tech spoiler"..??? kinda confused
its an AutoThority E36M3 exhaust with custom piping... when it wasnt installed the exhaust felt like a tincan, it was light as hell.

meant the rear bumper, I have the stock exhause still with the factory chrome tips but they always look pretty much lost

Hahah, I had the reverse with my 225 R-comps on b-caps, handled awesome, although the rear could have been wiiiiider (had the spacers, but didn't feel like putting the rears on).

Can you explain exactly why it would make the handling worse?
I'm not disagreeing with you, but I would just like to know the technical reasoning behind it.

i believe widening track decreases body roll at that axle, effectively allowing more use of the grip you have. however, doing just the rear increases usable grip at the rear but not the front, introducing understeer.

... kinda similar to having staggered tires with wider in the rear
