I had a Dinan Chip in the old at one point, put it back in the cradle box somne years ago, lost it in the black hole which is my parents' garage.

I now have a Mark D'Sylva chip that I'll be installing.

Which level Ssquid chip do you have?

    Stage 1 Broh.

I don't have time for other stages.

are you sure those aren't e36 springs? e30 springs don't sit like that..
I'm pretty sure. These are H&R Super Sport Springs for the 318i/iS. Verified the blue numbers and everything. Maybe the Germans stamped them incorrectly IDK.

Soon! Here is a sneak peek at the engine bay right now. It's got a set of my Alpina headers and custom stainless steel exhaust system. This thing is going to be Tits.

Also got it aligned this morning. The stance in the rear is already lower, but still high. Don't care right now.

Nice work so far with the twins

Glad to hear it! No more twins. I visited the first car in this thread in the last two days and it's getting an s54 right now.

I'm tinkering with the new one, bringing it back to a nice, simple baseline of a car.

I spent a few hours last week giving it's suspension rehabilitation. Every time I get under there, I notice 10 more things that require replacement.

But I ended up replacing all front suspension: steering rack, inner and outer tie rods, CAs, CAB's Koni SA up front, Bilstein HD out back, H&R Super Sport Springs, and other things.

Then on the way home, the car's coolant temp climbed from just under half way to 3/4. ak- and I performed the clutch fan test and I believe it's no longer pulling enough air to cool the engine. I ordered another and will get that in today or tomorrow.

    Here are pictures.

    Rear Sus

    Front Sus

How the CABs were pressed out. TOAST

    Bonus bent outer tie rods

I might have to modify the rear to sit lower. As of now, I think the car is too low in front, but will reserve judgement for another month.

Next up, mess under the intake, wheels, LSD, front valence, maybe dash, maybe paint.

Honestly dude, this car's mysteriousness made me buy it.

Turns out it needs a whole lot of shit.

Trans, steering rack, Suspension, CAs, CABs, dash, sunroof isn't working, driver seat is weird, dents, paint, cluster, and basic maintenance.

I've already secured half of these things away, but for what I paid (nearly double asking price), I don't think it was a smoking deal. Either way, I'll keep at it and get everything done. Should have suspension and steering rack done by next weekend. Then get it smog'd, then other things.

It's good from far, but far from good.
