    my new 1984 325e grey market e30

hello everyone. i have been after this car for a while and was finally able to get it today. car is a bit dirty but once i get a chance to detail the car is going to look great. i was told the car has 37k og miles because it sat for a long time. i bought the car from a stand up dude so i am inclined to believe him, plus the car is in great condition inside. let me know what you guys think of the car.

        :)

Very nice car. Has all the cool euro parts, just needs some paint:)
The slotted thing I believe is part of the AC system....the way they did it
back in Germany in the early days.
Have fun with this project...you got a good one!

thanks everyone, the car is amazing and does has many rare parts. the more i look through the car the more details i find that amaze me. the only thing the car needs right now is to change the fuel tank do to bad gas. once i get this baby running ill post up some more pictures.
btw the vent near the center console is for a/c. not very efficient a/c but that is what its for.

I believe that is a "fresh-air" vent for euro-market cars that are not equipped with AC. Looking at your engine bay shot it looks like there aren't any AC lines mounted either.

Is the car a slick top?

Post up some more pictures!! You have a very cool car.
