Finally bought a new E30 as a daily after way too many years of university/student starvation.

Japanese Import 1989 320i Automatic. Nogarosilber-metalic. Sedan. 145000km.

Other car is my first E30, bought in 2006, kept in a barn at my parents back east for a future mid-life crisis. 1991 318is. Brilliantrot. Gazilion km.

So...
What's timing belt it Japanese?
Is the M20b20 belt the same as a M20b25 ?

m20b20 is just a 2.0 instead of 2.5

looks like every other M20 at first glance but things are differently placed and different intake
