Hey all.
Been a lurker for a long time and just purchased an e30 325i convertible today in Ohio.
I purchased it from the owner or larchmere imports who had purchased it from the previous owner when the timing belt snapped and he didn't want to fix it. So he tore it down and repaired that and replaced the cylinder head and clutch fan along with the SI board and the convertible top. When I went to check it out today I noticed the rear diff was seeping, the shifter was loose, the trans was seeping and the oil pan gasket needed replacing. He agreed to fix all of this at his shop along with refreshing the parking brake.
Just curious while its at his shop for the next week can you think of anything else I should have done? The car has 196k miles but is actually really clean and drove nice. Clutch felt good and even the AC works.
