I ordered about 6 and I HIGHLY recommend everyone that wants to do this orders some. I found several colors that looked sick online but not so much in person. There was a brighter blue and deep blue, but the brighter blue didn't hold color well in the sun and I felt it would get washed out. I've seen people rocking the deeper blue on e30's and I wanted to be a special snowflake so I went with this.
Just my opinion here btw, I've done alot of searching on the different types of wraps and I've found alot of shops prefer working with Avery. There is a dude on youtube that ordered a sample pack of all the brands he could and rated them. Talked about how the color holds, the orange peel look, ect.Last edited by CaffeinatedSoul; 07-26-2016, 06:00 AM.Leave a comment:

I actually like it alot. I was tossing around the same idea but was looking at more of a darker blue from 3M. How many samples did you get before deciding on this?Leave a comment:

I picked up 65ft of wrap for $504 at metro restyling, plus the tools and the 3m edge sealer, about $600. I highly recommend the edge sealer, and I will say 65ft leave no room for major error. For $35 more you can have 75 feet and be able to do repairs down the road. It's not really hard to do imo, just lots and lots of patience on the detail areas like the spoiler, mirrors, and bumpers. Me and my brother wrapped it ourselves with a hair dryer, not bad for two noobs.
Matias, no the fender aren't rolled, just have too much camber on the rear to make it work. I have a set of CAtuned coilovers I'm waiting for. Probably roll the fenders a bit and raise it a tiny bit.
Efficent, I didn't really have any dents but I had some rock chips and a bubble in the pain in one spot. This will kinda hide the rock chips, but it will still show the dips in the paint. At about 3-4+ you can't see the rock chips anymore if they're minor.
I was trying to get a new wallpaper for my phone and figured I would share. None of my photos are altered in anyway. This wrap has kind of a pearl look about it in different lightings.

Wrap looks great man - I am planning to wrap mine this winter. Did you have a shop put it on or do it yourself? If you did it yourself, how much material did you use?Leave a comment:

My car was replayed by po and the only issues I noticed were in areas that got thin spray. Bottom of rear bumper. Inside of the mirrors and it sticks fine, but pulled up the thin spots when I lifted it to reseat it.Leave a comment:

1990 325i matallic blue wrap
So I finally finished wrapping my car over the weekend and figured I'd take some pictures for yu guys. If you've been thinking about wrapping, feel free to ask me some questions on it and I'll try my best to help out.
This is Avery supreme bright blue matllic for those who want the same color.
Side note: my kid car seats in the back if you're curious what that is. I also took one vertical for a background on my cell. I'll try to get some better pictures here soon.Last edited by CaffeinatedSoul; 07-25-2016, 12:33 PM.Tags: None
