+1 thumbs up on your choice. ''89 is the best of all years - big taillights, plastic bumpers and pre-SRS electronics.

H&R sport springs and Koni SA went in yesterday. 15mm spring pad in the rear and e90 drop hats in the front. Was hoping that would raise the rear a bit and avoid the reverse rake illusion from the lower rear fenders but doesn't look like it... They went in yesterday so I have no idea how much the springs will settle but I doubt anything noticeable.

Looking good! It should settle a bit. The wheels and tires you have in the works will help too. ;)

Your car looks incredible. The fitment of the wheels and ride height are perfect, specs on the wheels and tires? I am hoping to end up with similar results on my car.

I have also been lusting after an 1989. I'll be picking up my first E30 next week. I have wanted one for over 10 years, but was never in a good situation to own one, or able to find the right one where I lived. I found one that is in good enough condition, and look forward to driving it home.

My wife and I are flying out to pick it up and drive it home!

Ummm...it says 265 on the sticker, is that the same tire already installed?! What am I missing, unless that's not the number for the size...?
