    Project >> Frankenstein 86 325e+is coupe 5spd

    1986 BMW 325e Coupe 5spd

This is my second bimmer, and i feel lucky to find one in great condition to start a build. The key to this project is my third bimmer, a 1987 325is Coupe 5spd doner car.

    325e

    325is

The doner 325is is turning out to be a gold mine for my build with mint parts.

Cut away the front clip to check out the situation, and the head and accessories look great. The bottom im still not sure until i strip all the damaged accessories off, but i cant see any damage to the block yet. oil pan is shattered.

Rest of the interior is looking great.

IS head on E bottom and turbo the low compression in the end. transfer all other IS goodies and interior to the 86.

I think this is my 10th post and i don't have to verify posts anymore!

My car is an E bottom and IS Head... I actually love the way it drives and seems to have good power. I didn't do the work and bought the car shortly after it was completed. My plan is to possibly do a turbo setup on it once I dial in suspension and get bigger brakes...
