No it would not.....eliminates the contrast and makes the auxiliary fan very visible and looks like youre missing a grill. Plus the kidney grills is the mark of BMW. but thats my opinion. I tried it on both my cars and wasnt convinced.

well i guess your're right.. will keep the grills but maybe i should do the shadow lining.. any suggestion?:D

Well I blacked out my grill and it took some time to like it. It took a bit of class out and replaced it with a bit more sport per say. I now like it and I am going to leave it myself. As far as shadowlining the car I would. It makes the car look so much better! There are several write ups on how to do it. It just takes some time about about $15 to make a huge change on your car. Keep up the good work!

shadowline will do wonders, keep the kidney chrome IMO..

Shadowline is a must for any E30 IMO modded or not... but especially shades of black and white. SUch as silver, black, or white , or that dark grey metallic some UK Mtech 2's have
