Thank you for sharing the photo of that beautiful car. One thing I notice is the perfectly smooth body panels. How do you do that on a 35 year old car?

The CSL (specifically Peter Gregg's racer) was THE car that converted my from "casual observer" to "I have to have one" relative to BMWs. That was 34 years and 10 BMWs ago. I have never had the privilege to own a big coupe but have driven a few.

Thanks guys! Don, I appreciate the comments. I have only owned the car about a month and its been terrific. The car was stripped down to bare metal and repainted about 10 years ago. I'm a body guy myself and the car isn't as straight as I'd prefer but it shows very well and the paint job has held up great over the years. I'll eventually strip it and redo it again but it really doesn't need it. Its just nice enough to enjoy, which I am. If you get the chance, buy one. I've had some cool cars but this thing is another level.
