Picked up an e32 this past wednesday. It's an '88 735i 5spd with 173k miles. So far, I'm happy with the car.

aka fancy 5 series on steroids. Our lemons team has been debating campaign one of these. They are basically free these days. But the key is 5 speed vs tragicmatic.

Picked it up in ATL, drove it down to Pensacola, FL (5hr trip). The car drove pretty nice, very solid (it is a heavy car) that helps.

They are a very decent build and run forever, the bad is the electrical systems done during green party days....biodegradeable wiring sucks ass.

The only issue I have now, is no air blows out any of the driver side vents, only passenger side vents.

The car still heats/cools off nice, with only passenger side vents working. I am going to fix this issue at some point.

Just realized e30 wheels fit in this car. Threw on the Z1 to replace the ugly airbag wheel.

I thought it was going to look too "newish" on the car.

The vent flaps get sticky and break, PITA to fix.

Also replace your control arm bushings with e34 m5 bushings at the first sign of the 50mph wobble.

Nice find on the manual, mine is an 88 735i automatic. The auto trans isn't bad if you service it every 30k lol.
