    Some more things done... ;D;D

    Tractor 318i

    Since i got the car the engine as low power under load, especially around 3000+ rpm, I thought it as the rotor and sparkplugs but recently i took the AFM out and besides being worn out its from a peugeot/citroen car.

    Also the spark plugs when I take them out are flooded with gasoline. I think the AFM is sending a "rich" signal. Its possible to calibrate this AFM for my engine?Rotating the spring in the AFM to make it leaner or do I need a M10 AFM?

      There are some good write-ups about setting the AFM properly. I'd look into those. Are you having to crank your car for a long time to get it to start or something? I'm surprised you'd be covered in fuel.

        The car starts without a problem. The idle seems a bit erratic until it warms up but nothing you would notice when driving. The major problem is that under load i cant get the engine past 3000 or 3500 rpm, with half or full throttle.

        yesterday i turned the wheel spring on the afm to make it more leaner and the sparks look much better, without fuel residue, and it seems to have just a little bit more power

                    Love it, just clear coat it and leave with that awesome patina.

                      Finally start disassembling my engine and it just looks awful. Lots of grime and burned oil and black stuffs.

                      I just wish I had a vapor blasting machine

                      The gearbox and intake side of the engine bay was full of old oil

                      The oil pump had silicone strings inside the pickup plate

                      Bolt :tsk::tsk:

                      Some oil starvation

                      Maybe this is why the car didnt pull right :!::!:

                            I was reading through your thread and it wasn't until I saw the plate on the car that I noticed you're from Portugal. Which town are you from? I'm from Lisbon moved here when I was 11. Going back to Portugal in June for vacation.

                            Awesome work with the car can't wait to see more progress.
