Here's my car in mid-project stage.

I took these today, and wanted to post up so that Rigmaster could finally see how his product looks. Thanks again, Bret.

p.s. I know it looks like crap with the Green on the Bronzit, but I wanted to get the crap on finally. I want to paint it, but don't even feel like trying to match bronzit, thinking about just going flat black, and then working backwards as I address individual rust/dent/dings as I can. Opinions?
You can see the rest of my project here.

Plastic FTW, mismatched body panels FTL.

Either paint it flat black for the time being or sand it down and send the stuff into the bodyshop.

I sent some of the stuff for my car to the body guy and gave him the fuel filler cap to do a paint match and it came back perfectly.

Paint the whole car flat black. Then you're solid.

Bronzit isn't any harder to match than other metallics. Send it out to get painted up!

Here's the thing. I don't like Bronzit, and everyone hates on it anyways.
When I'm done with the car (S50B30, Suspension, maybe MtechII) I would like to get it painted Mauritius Blau or some such. So it will only be an "in-between" flat black. (In-between being a period longer than 3 months, and shorter than 2 years...)

Julien's got the right idea. Call your local auto paint supply stores and ask if they can mix up a spray can of bronzit. Scuff it with some 320 and shoot it.

It'll look much better than flat black - even if the color isn't a perfect match.
