Background
This is the first car, and first E30, I've been driving it since I got my license. It's still my favourite car to drive so far albeit being an auto. I'd love to own a MT one day, but I still have a soft spot for AT E30s. My father had the same E30 20 years ago and he loved driving it. I guess inherited some E30/BMW DNA from him��
Anyhow, 2 years after the purchase, we only did 2 oil changes, wheel refurb and new antenna. So I've (getting help from a shop) decided to give the car some service and TLC:

- change spark plugs
- valve timing adjustment + cover gasket
- air filter, oil filter, fuel filter
- change timing belt, tensioner, water pump, gaskets, seal..
- change 3 other belts
- replace ignition wire
- ignition coil
- control arm bushings
- steering universal flex joint
- trunk gasket and tail light gaskets
- brake pads + discs
- (hopefully can) fix gearbox and steering leak
Potential upgrades:
- better tyres - currently wearing 195/60/15 Pirelli P1. any recommendations?
