First pics on r3v... and my first car!

Well my dad bought me an e30 as my first car back in June. Its been one of my favorite cars for a loooooooong time so i was stoked to get it. Its a 91 IS, he picked it up for $3000 with 210,000 miles. It has a rebuilt head, but it run great so im not really worried about the miles.
Interior and exterior is in amazing condition. all black with black leather. it also has 15x7 TSW 5 spoke wheels. Unfortunately the previous owner put 60 series tires on them so its a monster truck and rubs at full lock. But i destroyed the tires at the track a couple weeks ago so they'll be replaced soon :p. Besides that i plan on replacing the brakes soon cause my pads got fried at the track as well, and i need new rotors as well. I figure as long as im down there i might as well put steal braided lines in since ill be tracking it more. Then i want to put an H&R cup kit on it as well as Suspension Techniques sway bars.
    Heres some pics.

Here's my tires after the track. Since the side wall was so big and i had so much body roll (stock suspnsion), AND the track had a lot of hard right hand turns, my left front tire was rubbing so bad in turns that it went into the fender well and actually pulled the roll down, exposing the metal edge. This chopped up my tire pretty bad, so we swapped tires (front to rear), and rolled the fender back in a bit, but even with the fender rolled it still chopped up the tire pretty good so we just kept swapping all weekend. 3 of my 4 tires looked like this after the weekend ended.

Oh and heres the feature that spoils it.

yes unfortunately its automatic :(. but i cant complain, it was free and its in perfect condition.

    Enjoy!

rwdrift- i agree, is just getting my dad to agree. he bought the car so hes hesitant on doing anything gnarly to it. i would have it swapped by now if it was my choice.... thanks though!

Its a 13 button on board computer as opposed to the 6 button the I models were fitted with., Used for mileage estimation, time, etc, etc

If you are tracking it a lot, steer away from the cup kit. Thats my only advice. Nice ride though, feelin the schwarz. Oh yeah, if you replace your radio too, be sure to sell yours. That one is the e30 unit that some people want, its more powerful than the others. Congrats on e30 ownership, prepare to swear like a sailor! :)

I would agree, however I have the exact setup that he wants to run (Cup Kit and ST Sways) and the performance is great, the Sways really dial out some of the softness issues with the cup kit, and handling is much improved. I was going to go GC or H&R Coilovers before my 5lug conversion, however after installing the sways I am holding off.

The cupkit is not as bad as everybody makes it out to be.

Seriously OT, but will you stop dicking around and POST PICTURES OF YOUR CAR ALREADY JAMES!

As for the car above, very sweet to have all the options available! Ground Control is quality stuff, if you're looking for adjustable height in your suspension...anyways, good luck with it!
