First Post is my First BMW!

Hello to all, this is my first post here on r3vlimited, and I thought I would start off with a picture of my first BMW, a 1990 BMW 325i convertible. I bought it about a week ago. It came with Bavauto lowering springs, computer chip, cam, 17" wheels, and a god awful ricer exhaust that HAS to be changed as soon as I can get in the muffler shop..... anyway, hope you guys enjoy the photos..... Oh, and sorry that they aren't in a more photo friendly landscape, I just snapped them the other day..

The leather is cracked wide open, but the body is straight and perfect except for two quarter sized dings...... I LOVE THIS CAR!! it curves like a dream, BUT, it's equipped with a Slushbox. It's quite dreadful, but I have a 5 speed donor car on the way hopefully!

great start! looks good, but you might wanna swap those bavauto springs later on, cuz they get a lil saggy after a while!

Good to know, what Kind of springs would you suggest if I dont want to lose the aggressive stance but want the BEST handling I can get out of it?

Yea, I'd like to do a bumper swap. Do any of you know where to find plastic bumpers, and what's involved in a swap? I'm sure there's some DIY and FAQ on here to help me out though.

Ive had my Bavauto springs for 3 years, And i havent had a problem with sagging or anything of the sort
Bumper swaps come up every once and a while in the FS section

EDIT: I drive a much lighter front and rear 318, So wyoco is probably right, With a 2.5 and how much heavier cabrios are. i dont doubt it

I'm in south central "Caintuckee" haha.... Actually, if any of you have ever heard of Beach Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY, (It's where they hold the Mustang world finals) I'm about 40 mins. from there.... pretty sure the car has never been to CO though, BUT, I could be wrong, maybe the owner before last was from there, I dunno...

Looks like a solid start. It will definately improve with a new exhaust.

Let Carol know it's almost time for my dog's next haircut!

Nice looking car. Diggin the rims. For the bumper swap, all you really need to do is cut the tow hooks and bolt the new bumpers on.

As far as springs. Many many options. H&R sports are the most popular setup for a street car with everything else from H&R race to ground control etc.
