I got E36 m3 links with the bar I got, they are shorter than the iX links.

Just longer endlinks :) both E36 and iX endlinks have the same type of ball joint. only the lenght is different

lol, so longer would be which ones then? I feel the ix ones are already pretty long, relatively.

The iX endlinds are longer than the E36 endlinks
But in order to fit the E36 bar you need even longer endlinks than the original iX endlinks :)
