First BMW for a Veedub convert

Well, after selling my Rabbit a good friend of mine convinced me to try somthing new. I picked up this E30 mainly b/c the body was clean. Rot sucks, mechanical stuff can be changed.

I had to buy new basically the whole brake system and the exhaust has a leak other than that its pretty good, drives well and slides nice.

As for plans for the car, im gonna keep it simple and restore peices as i can.
    -Leathers
    -Plastic bumpers
    -HnR springs
    -euro elips
    -a front lip
    -Mtech2 spoiler

nice car. weird that it has cloth interior, i guess that must've been a special order for an IS. Good luck with it though, you'll love it. Make sure the timing belt is in good order (50k miles/4 years) and you are good to go.

fix your park brake too :-P

          HI Dave.
          Welcome to R3V.

Looks like you found a great start.

I have leather sports. I would prefer cloth...but not in that condition!

GL on the mods, keep going.

Throw the recaro's in their asap, and then go hit up the twisties. You probably wont want your stock seats back in there afterwards.

That is because 88's kick ass. you can convert the aluminum to plastic and no airbag is a plus.

but then again you know, you have one :pimp:
