Thanks for all the nice words guys. The valance was used when I got it, and I had the paintshop de-texture it. Yeah that was almost 2 years ago now.

I didn't paint the whole car... at least not yet. Yes, I did take some advice from that site in my sig (showcargarage.com) and so far the paint is coming around nicely; I still have lots more polishing/cleaning to do. Apparently there was actually no apparent frame damage from my most recent accident; however, the previous owner had some VERY minute damage that was addressed on that last go-around in the body shop almost 2 years ago.

Josh, she was never dead... she just bled all over the place and was pretty banged up. But yes, she is better than evarrrr.

    Matt, you can't have her.

    The Kosei's are just 15's.

Yes, those are Euro Smoked Smiley lights.

The license plate lights are the stock ones, but the post-processing I had to do on the pics might be causing them to look a lil bright.

In addition to the bumper, btw, she recently got a new coolant bottle, new OEM BMW valve caps, redline in the tranny and diff, US plate filler, and a Z3 1.9 short shifter (still not in the car yet).

I'll have to get some interior shots after I finish detailing it (Klasse wipey stuff FTW).

Thanks again for reading my essay, and please DO post your artsy comments on the pics. I would like criticisms and tips, as they can help make me a better photographer (even with the limits of my current camera).

Great looking car. I'm in the process of removing the texture also. Unfortunately I've a little rust around the rear tow loop that may need to be patched. Not looking forward to it.

What kind of bulbs do you have for the license plate lights. They be bright and shiny.

#2 is by far and wide the best of that set I think. Just the cutoffs and lighting looks great. I wish I wouldnt keep getting my car so damn dirty so that it would make sense at all to really do a REALLY good job washing/waxing etc it. Eventually I will :???:

I think the first really good shoot that I should really bother with is when my 2002 gets finished some time next year. Summer? Its going to be sickness in a shoebox. BIIIG plans for it...we'll see if I can get it done in time

    Very nice.

Always enjoyed it before the incident, now it's that much better.

Think I'll probably have mine done the same way.
