yea, the tails really transformed the back end... I just need to paint the bumpers black and tuck them... maybe thats a project for tomorrow. I have some time and feel like messing with it a bit, and that would make it look 100X better.

I agree about the wheels, but I would be basically using these for FREE, seeing as I got them for nothing, and I can get used tires from work with enough life on them. I also have full access to a road-force balancer at school, so I can put new tires on whenever I want for free. I want to try them first with 225/40/18's front and back and see how they look. It will be a bit stretched out back, but it will clear the fenders more and look totally Euro 8)
9.5" 18's with 225/40's will look the business

Very nice! Euro bumpers make the car.

i wanna do euro bumpers on my e28 535is, but i need to tend to other matters first (eg- new front spoiler, new rear drivers side plastic thing with the reflector in it, new driver side front fender, new rear and front bumpers (thats why i wanna do euro bumpers). needs quite a bit of work, as well as a paint job and some interior work. ugh, money pit. still fun car though!

I painted the rear bumper black today, and drilled the shocks... I need to ram the car aginst a wall now, and it will look "the business"

I need to get the front bumper off... hopefully I don't have to remove the front valance, they are a PITA and I don't want to break any mounting brackets.

E28's are one of my all time fav BMW's and that is a very nice one!! Man, are those US bumpers HUGE though!!! Any plans to put some skinny chrome ones on after the engine work is completed?

Euro bumpers arent as easy on E28s as they are on E30s. The front frame rails have extensions welded onto them for the US bumpers, so theres some chopping involved to put the euro front on.
