Generally an unloved BMW here in the US. Other places esp UK they are loved.
I stand corrected took a second glance and you are right, I was to busy looking at the brakes and the Benz

never made a M535 back then. the M 535s were E28s- and reqally arent anything good here in germany.- kinda the M tech kitted E28.

where were the pics taken? My brother said he was riding through elk grove a month or so ago and saw a euro meet somewhere, wondering if thats it. he said he saw a red E30 M3 there.

Now that I don't think is true Mike. I have read in numerous books about M535i.

All they were from my understanding was just a kitted E12. The engine remained a 212hp m30 unit.

probably the hottest 4-door e30 ever, definately hottest bronzit.

im pretty sure the rear bumper is an av3 piece.

Actually, Mike. The E12 had the ///M535i. You can look it up. It came in black, white, and silver. ///M appointments on the interior such as ///M1 steering wheel and other things. The car had a 218hp engine, I believe. It also had a wing as pictured and Mahle or BBS basketweaves and that kit. Sometimes you can catch ones with the ///M striping option, tits Mc Ghee.

                          Thanks guys.

Rear bumper is an Av3. I modified it quite a bit so it fit awesome, but then somebody rearended me slightly and Autovogue won't ship over here anymore (and there are no longer any U.S. vendors) so it had to be repaired. The repair is near perfect and it still fits real good, but not perfect like before because I changed the custom mounting brackets I had been using. Oh well.

The E12 is indeed a Euro M535i. Very rare car even if some consider it nothing special. Includes some body addons and a short ratio dogleg gearbox. He rebuilt the motor and the car is truly gorgeous.

Car is still 4x100. Rear rotors are e36 M3 redrilled to 4x100 and a custom centering ring was machined to match to the e30 rotor centerbore and the parking brake shoe was modified to fit the larger rotor hat. Considering the clamping force from the wheel is what holds on the rotor and it's a rear rotor (about only 15% of the braking force), the redrilling doesn't bother me. But I'd have reservations about running a redrilled front rotor, although I guess it would still be safe depending on drilling locations. Rear calipers are Fixed Brembo Twin pistons with custom steel brackets anodized black.

Front rotors are from a Mini Cooper S brembo kit, so already 4x100. Hub spacer was machined for perfect clearance and to match rotor centerbore along with extended 57mm hub for correct e30 wheel centering. Calipers are Fixed Brembo 4 piston Lotus calipers mounted with the sequentially sized pistons in the proper order (small piston leads-below the larger piston) and blead screw in the upright position and of course super thick custom brackets made out of top grade aluminum. Safety is always a primary concern. I used to run an IE front and rear brake kit. I didn't have any problems, but I'm convinced it isn't as safe as it should be. Their caliper brackets were shoddy. I've already had a chance to test this setup at the track with the porsche club and it is phenominal.

Mike, this meet was not in Elk Grove, but there has been some there.

The Mercedes is some kind of rare older "first AMG kitted car" or something, but I don't know much about them. It only has a 3.2l. I'd love to know if anybody has some info. I forgot to ask the owner.

He speaks the truth. Along with the 3.0 CSL Batmobile, the E12 M535i was on of the very first ///M cars.

And yes, Chris does have the sickest bronzit in existence.
