OK, so I have a check engine light that has a cam sensor error, and a new problem, an occasional misfire. With a reader hooked up, it says that the ECU is having trouble getting signals, etc.
I pulled the ECU and the wiring harness has some pretty sub par connections. I haven't pulled them yet to solder them, but they look like speaker wire and some crappy crimp connections. Not cool. If this is the case, I am going to be really, really disappointed. Because when you are doing a swap, and you are there, how much longer does it take to do it right on something as important as wiring?
