great job, but not want to be an ass about it, but the paint doesn't match. I know new and old paint has a big factor, but still.... doesn't look like it's the same color..

Yea, the rest is getting sprayed soon to match, and b/c the rest of the paint sucks. As for the rear bumper, I follwed the Jordan method mostly, I got it on then cut the ends off to fit. I didnt really have the nessesary (cant spell) items or the time to fabricate big end caps, so I cut off the little peice that curls around the corner fromt he part I cut off and glued it on, then spread soem bondo to smooth it out. It helped smooth out the sharp edge from cutting the end off. I actully only had to slot one side for the bumper shocks, because before I got the car it was hit lightly in a parking lot, but just enough to lift the old bumoer up and make the fitment of the plastic bumper perfect!

Hey man, i saw your car at reunion and i liked it. it was the most 'real' car there. It was probably one of the few being shown that were driven daily. My beat up e30 was in the parking area. Just curious where did you get it painted and how do you think it came out? Im in CT too and will be in the market for paint very soon.

Nice job on the swap too.

My brother painted it lol. He did a pretty good job, but its a bit wavy in places, so once it settles more we're wet sanding it to smooth it out a bit, but other than that, it came out nice. On the way to the Bavauto show with a few M3s, we averaged around 90mph, and now the IS lip is rock chip heaven. Thats going to be redone once it comes time to spray the rest.
