Noob lookin for help Color options

New to the community!!! Hope to learn and reading all threads for help.

    Here’s my project car. E30 90 325i.

Just got some new shoes. 16” bbs Rx214. Next is Godspeed coilovers.

Car is original Bronzit. Should I keep the same? The paint is horrible for the age. Fading everywhere and a few dents lol. My budget cant spend too much to change a drastic color. Door jams under hood etc. Im thinking decent $2k paint job. Unless $2k I can change the color. So might have to stick with Bronzit if not doable.

    Pics link don't work.

For 2k if you take it to some reputable shops in Mexico, they'll do an amazing job!
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Dude, I'm in Canada. I had a contact but since lost it.
I was gonna take my 325is to Mexico and have the work done but man, that's a really far drive!
If you ask around on the forums (VW etc) you'll get some decent shop contacts.

I since decided to save the time and get it done locally.

I would pull out the fender and door dent and then wrap it if you want a color change. It can be done yourself with some patience and $700. Looks like a nice starting point for an e30.

Personally I would keep it the same color. Definitely makes it easier with all the trim.

If you're doing it locally, and need to keep costs down just stick with bronzit. They look fine when the paint is fresh.

I kept my e30 Bronzit. I personally like the color (gasp!) and I just don't like changing a car's original paint code. It's like sacrilegious to me or something...

Color changes only look right (to me) if the engine bay is changed as well AND the color is from the palette they used on E30's from the factory over the production run. I'm a fan of Cirrusblau Metallic, Lazerblau Metallic, Mauritiusblau Metallic, Calypsorot Metallic and Platanengrun Metallic.

See the full list of color names here:

Just my 2₵. Good luck & keep us posted!

I actually like Bronzit, I would keep it that way.
