I've owned this car longer than any other vehicle I've had, but it's now for sale.

So this kind of happened.
It's no secret that I have had a huge love affair with the second generation BMW 3 series for years. My first one, bought sight...

I'm very blessed, my wife is way cool and has many incredible assets...

In all seriousness, anybody who was planning on surprising a BMW nutthead like me with an E30 M3 has to be somebody special. From a few post up:
My wife was actually pretty bummed when I bought the shell, because she had planned on buying me one for some kind of big event, like 10th wedding anniversary, finally finishing college after 20 years or something like that. My plan was to make the shell look like this after doing a proper roll cage (I was planning on a DTM replica cage) then transferring all the cool bits on the white car into the new shell

She has already mentioned this evening that now she can carry through with her original plan.:bow:Leave a comment:

Yeah, I know. In the same situation. I am going to sell of a few cars in next year or two. Might be selling the E36 M3 and my M3 replica e36.AST suspension is most likely going on the new ride, I'm going to compare both at an open lapping day and see if there is a real difference.
I'd like to keep both, but spousal stipulations outlined complete removal of the e30 in 12 months or the new one is on the chopping block...realistically I don't need two track capable cars, and the new one is what I've really wanted.
Secretly I'd like to sell everything but the shell, then instead of sending it to the scrap yard, put an m20 & 4 lug back 15x10 275/35/15 Hoosiers on it and make it a DSP cone killer...

Can't believe your selling this car! It has been a huge influence on my e30 tastes for a while now. 12 months is pretty lenient, you must have a cool wifeLeave a comment:

I know, I know. Should consider keeping both being the amount of work over the last 6 years this thing has gone through.
If it gets parted I am semi interested in the suspension.Leave a comment:
